You don't have to do grief alone
Grief support for adults

When someone you love dies, life changes in ways you never imagined.
You may feel lost, exhausted, angry or unsure how to carry on. You might wonder if what you're feeling is normal, or whether anyone truly understands.
The Grief Club is here to help people whose lives have been changed by loss understand their grief, feel less alone and find hope through gentle education and supportive community.

A different kind of grief support
Grief is something we all experience, yet very few of us are ever taught how to live alongside it.
Instead, we're often expected to "be strong", "keep busy" or "move on".
At The Grief Club, we believe something different.
You are not broken. You are grieving.
Through practical learning, compassionate conversations and the reassurance of a supportive community, you'll begin to understand why grief affects your mind, body and emotions in the ways it does. Most importantly, you'll discover you don't have to navigate it alone.
"The Grief Club quickly became a safe, supportive space where I felt less alone and more able to open up at my own pace. The kindness and care Joanna brings made a real difference. It isn't about fixing grief—it's about feeling understood."

The Grief Club Programme
Eight weeks. Small groups. A place where you can simply be yourself.
The Grief Club is a structured eight-week programme for adults whose lives have been changed by loss.
Whether your loss happened recently or many years ago, you'll find a welcoming space where grief is understood, never judged.
Together we'll explore:
-
Why grief affects us emotionally, physically and psychologically.
-
Practical ways to navigate everyday life after loss.
-
The reassurance that what you're experiencing is normal.
-
How connection with others can help you feel less alone.
-
Hope for the future, without feeling you have to leave your loved one behind.

Why the Grief Club?
The Grief Club was created from one simple belief:
Nobody should have to navigate grief alone.
When Joanna lost her mum after years of living with a rare degenerative brain disease, she searched for somewhere that offered more than sympathy.
She wanted understanding.
She wanted honesty.
She wanted hope.
When she couldn't find that place, she created it.
Today, The Grief Club combines more than thirty years of supporting people through life's challenges with lived experience and research-informed grief education to create something practical, compassionate and deeply human.
